30 August 25: Buckden Village Café has been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund. This funding will help us continue to support our local community, providing a warm, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. A huge thank you to the National Lottery players and the National Lottery Community Fund – your support makes a real difference! We look forward to using this grant to grow our community work and bring even more people together at the heart of Buckden. Watch this space for more exciting things happening at your village cafe.

2 August 25: We were joined by our MP Ben Obese-Jecty for the grand opening of Buckden Village Café! We at BVC are delighted to bring a café to the village, selling Bohemia Roast coffee (other beverages are available!), alongside an array of tempting cakes, freshly heated bacon butties and sausage rolls. Join us any day from 9am-1pm for a warm welcome with free wifi. Perfect for dog walkers, and parents/carers visiting the playground or sports field – we have created an inclusive space to which all are welcome.

26 July 25: Buckfest 2025 was another sell-out event, bringing over 20 live bands across 4 stages in our award winning one-day festival. More information will be available on the website: www.buckfest.org

13 March 25: Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2024 will take place in the family room and is open to all members to attend. Come and find out what has been achieved in the past year and ask questions about what the future has in store. If you’re interested in a position within the committee, please contact Club staff or the Chairman; we’d welcome your involvement!

17 January 2025: the Club has benefited from new loft insulation as part of a grant-funded energy efficiency move by the Village Hall Trust. It is expected that this will improve the heating of the Club and help reduce the utilities bills in the future.
